Women Who Love Downhill Skiing, Snowboarding & Freeride Mountain Biking

In honor of Cyber Monday, the holiest day in online shopping, I figured it's an appropriate time to share our holiday wishlists of outdoor gear and more. The other day I used the Application finder to add my Amazon Wishlist to the bottom of my DH Divas profile. And yes - I also added an addicting Tetris knock-off game.

I'm actually having a hard time adding things to my wishlist, since I'm pretty much a gear whore already, there isn't much that I *really* need, but there are at least some upgrades I'm looking for, and haven't wanted to spend the money on this year. Mostly because I don't have any extra to spend right now. So I just asked for a couple of key things, that I always put off in order to get other items.

New snowboard boots might actually mean I go ride more, then maybe next year I'll get a new board bindings. New cross country ski gear including new skating boots and bindings, plus some rockin' new Swix poles would be great so I can go XC skiing with Connie more this year.

Ok, I could still go XC skiing more this year with the stuff I do have -- kind of ghetto combi xc skis I got to replace what I raced on in HS, sometime after that I broke my good carbon poles, and totally trashed my last pair of skate boots-- it's just that the new gear would make it so much more fun:)

Since I scored a bunch of clothing and accessories at TJ Maxx earlier this fall (because I'm a gear whore who loves a bargain), I don't really need much for that stuff, with the exception of some new baselayers, maybe a hoodie with thumbholes or something like that.

Using Amazon's wishlist was good just to get some ideas going, since they have everything under the sun, though most of my gear picks are via Backcountry. But Amazon let me add Guitar Hero World Tour - my latest obsession outside of gear, along with stuff for the house, which is always needed...so my gift guide isn't as crazy with gear as I thought it would be. I never really ask for bike stuff for Christmas, since my birthday's right at the start of bike season. But I'd still love any bike stuff too - I'm still a gear whore and proud of it.

So - what's on your holiday wishlist this year?

ps...no need to forward my list to my husband for me - he knows all about it - but if you want, I'll return the favor and give your S/O or family & friends some ideas;)
